Chamade, the pungent green chypre created by Jean-Paul Guerlain, is the envy of many a perfumer, having an evaporation curve that is compulsory for most students of perfumery to study.

The parfum de toilette concentration is one of the best perfumes to epitomise the onset of spring.

This is a 60% full 75ml flacon designed in the mid-1980s.

Eau de Cologne Imperiale was the most important perfume for the venerable house of Guerlain before the advent of modern perfumery.

This is a traditional bee bottle in the 8.5 oz size of the Extra Dry version for men, with about 4-5 oz of original contents. Although many lemon oil-based fragrances may go off over time, this particular specimen has been stored in the cool darkness over the years, protected from heat & light.

Item #50 ~ Guerlain, circa 1945

This vintage bottle contains one of the rarest fragrances ever made. Djedi was created by the legendary Jacques Guerlain around the time that King Tutankhamun's tomb was unearthed in Egypt in 1922, and named after an Egyptian magician of lore who could rejoin the severed heads of cadavers & bring them back to life!

The flacon has severe lines, and is made by Baccarat, as evidenced by their circular mark at the base.

A strange chypre that is heavy on vetiver, but has a passing resemblance to grave dirt somewhere between the opening and the heart!

I believe this flacon originally held over 3 ounces.
